Muireann is an experienced and passionate tutor of the uilleann pipes, flute, whistle and song. Qualified with a first Class Honours BMus degree from the MTU Cork School of Musicas well as a Comhaltas Ceolteoirí Éireann diploma in the teaching of Irish Traditional Music, (TTCT) Muireann possesses an in depth knowledge and command of traditional music from both a practical and theoretical point of view.
Muireann is also highly experienced in teaching musicianship and Suzuki Violin in primary schools and incorporates Irish songs and melodies as a foundation for solfa singing, aural training, rhythmic skills and literacy.
